“Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd Repair Authorisation & Service Waiver”

  1. I authorise Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd and its affiliates to perform repair work on my electronic device. I understand that Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd or its affiliates is an independent repairer with no affiliation with any telecommunication device manufacturers.


  1. I agree to release, indemnify, and hold Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd and its affiliates from liability for any claims or damages of any kind or description that may arise from any repair work performed on my electronic device.


  1. A service fee or diagnostic fee of $60 is payable on all repairs. This amount is not refundable and will be charged irrespective of the repair outcome.


  1. I agree and acknowledge that the price quoted only covers replacement of the parts listed as part of the quotation, but shall not cover other problems revealed during the repair process. If further parts not specified initially are needed in order for the device to be in good working order, Brian’s Deals will contact customer to advise of the additional costs and seek approval to proceed. If customer decides not to proceed with repair or does not agree with the additional cost or does not wish the original quote be varied, Brian’s Deals may return your product and you will be liable to pay the $60 service or diagnostic fee.

  2. Warranties

5.1. Manufacturer’s Warranty may be VOID upon opening a device. You accept that Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd may break a Warranty seal upon opening your device. It is the customer’s responsibility to determine if the device is currently under some form of warranty. If you are unsure, please determine this before we start any repairs. Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd or its affiliate does not assume any liability or warranty in the event that the manufacturer’s warranties are voided but may, at its sole discretion, offer its own warranty on the parts and/or services performed. Warranty offered by Brian’s Deals or its affiliate will be VOID if you smash, damage, break, crack or liquid damage your device.


5.2. I understand that Brian’s Deals Pty LTD or its affiliates offers no verbal or written warranty, either expressed or implied, regarding the success of this repair and I expressly waive all claims against Brian’s Deals Pty LTD for any damages to this device or data lost during repair work rendered by Brian’s Deals Pty LTD.


5.3. Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd warranty covers only the work performed for the declared fault the device is submitted for. Undeclared faults are not covered. Warranty does not cover new faults occurring after the device has been returned and excludes faults relating to physical or accidental damage (such as cracked digitizer, lcd, back glass) or unknown reason of the accidental damage.

5.4. Warranty cannot be given on the following repairs: software or software related issues, motherboard or liquid damage.

5.5 Our repairs are mostly for out of warranty devices and we use equivalent OEM aftermarket parts and refurbished parts. These parts provide similar functions but there may be some observable variations to the finished products in terms of screen resolution/colour tone/housing, texture, thickness and weight. Our aim in repairing your device is to bring it to as close to its original state and usability as possible at a competitive price. We use high quality aftermarket parts and all repairs are performed with the highest level of competency and workmanship.

  1. All jobs/devices must be collected within 30 days of completion. Jobs not claimed/collected in this period will be deemed as “Uncollected Goods” (Uncollected Goods Act 1995) and/or may incur a storage fee. Uncollected Goods may be sold/disposed of after the required time has elapsed in accordance with “Australian Consumer Law and Fair-Trading Act 2012″ (Section 60,61,62) & Uncollected Goods Act 1995.

  2. Data

7.1. I understand that Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd or its affiliates are not responsible for any data loss. I understand that I am responsible for backing up the data on my device before submitting for repair. In the event of any data loss and hardware or software failure I do not hold Brian’s Deals or its affiliates responsible or liable for any consequences or losses arising from the loss of data.


7.2. I understand that Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd and its affiliates will not browse through any personal or confidential information unless directed to or is required for verification of the repair. Technicians may inadvertently see data during the course of their work. I understand that any confidential data should be removed from the device prior to having repair work performed.

  1. Pre-check List

8.1. I understand that at the time of handing out my device for repair, if the device is password locked and have not supplied the password/or have supplied the wrong password to Brian’s Deals Pty Ltd or my device has a cracked screen/lcd/unresponsive screen or does not power up to enable Brian’s Deals Technicians to carry out a pre-check test. I acknowledge that Brian’s Deals Pty or its affiliates will not be held responsible for any other malfunctions of the device other than the sole problem the device has been brought in for repair and as such can be repaired at an additional cost to the customer.

  1. Ordered Parts

9.1. If parts need to be ordered the repair time can vary. We do not have control over postage delays that prevent a job from being completed. If anything should be lost in transit, we will attempt to order it again at our discretion. Special order items may require a deposit. Deposits are not refundable.


  1. By signing/or submitting this form, you agree to the above terms and obligations, if you do not agree to the above terms your job will not be accepted.
